Zen Habitats Policies


At Zen Habitats our goal is to get your new enclosures to you as soon as possible.  All in-stock Zen Habitats brand items ordered by 2:00 pm EST will ship the same day, and orders after 2:00 pm will ship the next business day. All non-Zen Habitats brand products ship in 1-3 business days. We offer free shipping on all orders in the contiguous US!

We ship FedEx/UPS Ground from TN and UT.  Most products arrive in 2-5 days. 

All back-orders will ship as soon as new inventory becomes available.


If you are dissatisfied with your product, you can return your unused enclosure for a full refund within 30 days. Enclosures must be returned in the same condition they arrived in. For the health and safety of our customers' pets, we regret that we cannot accept the return of an enclosure after it has housed an animal. It must also be in the original packaging. We will then send you a shipping label. 

Refunds (if applicable): 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a few (based on your credit card company's processing policies) days. 

If you are waiting on a refund, check with your credit card company or your bank. Once we process the refund, we no longer have access to where the funds are. 

Replacements (if applicable): 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@emzotic.com,  along with pictures of the damage, and we will send you a replacement. 


Zen Habitats, Inc. warrants that all enclosures, stands, and stacking spacers are free from defects in materials and workmanship and will remain free from such defects under normal use and service during the Warranty Period with proof of purchase. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties and representations whether express or implied, and is limited to repair or replacement of, at Zen Habitat’s sole discretion, the product or any part thereof. 

Warranty Period 

The original purchaser of any Zen Habitats reptile enclosures, stands, and/or stacking spacers is protected against defective materials or workmanship for a period of FIVE (5) years from the date of invoice. If the product proves defective, Zen Habitats will replace or repair it or any defective components, at our option and free of charge, provided such product or component is returned promptly as directed. As all of our products require initial consumer assembly, no compensation shall be provided for subsequent re-assembly to replace defective components 

Warranty Claims 

In no event shall liability under this warranty exceed the original purchase price of the furniture. No deductions for repairs in field will be allowed without specific written authorization. This warranty does not apply to products damaged by accident, abuse, neglect or misuse, nor does it apply to unauthorized repairs. In the event of any such damages to the product, customer will be responsible for payment of said repairs or replacements. No warranty coverage is provided for impact damage, normal wear and tear, indentions, scratches, and surface damage caused by failure to protect and maintain product properly. No warranty coverage is provided for variations in color, grain or markings which are ordinary to natural products or which develop over time because of natural processes such as exposure to sunlight. No warranty coverage is provided for acrylic components. This warranty is limited to first quality goods only and excludes outlet purchases. No warranty coverage is provided for products that has been placed outdoors or exposed to the elements. Zen Habitats products are designed and manufactured for indoor/interior use only. 

To Obtain Warranty Service 

If you suspect manufacturers defect, you must send photos, along with a description of the defect. Please include your order # or a copy of your dated receipt, keeping the original receipt for your records. No items will be accepted without prior written approval from Zen Habitats. Returns not authorized by Zen Habitats, Inc may be refused.
